don't leave it to the last minute to call on a Technical Author.
A last-minute, rush job does not produce
the best results. It can mean cutting
corners, cutting quality, and leaving things out. It's
unprofessional, and doesn't help the
end reader. It's not in your interests - or ours - to have a "hurried mixing".
Proper documentation takes
time to produce, so please talk to us before the nick of time!
So
please plan ahead! You plan development and
production; you plan marketing and sales; so please plan when to do
the Documentation!
A major software package might take one to three months to write up;
it depends how much functionality there is.
